Cowboys vs Rams Predictions
The Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams open their seasons Saturday night at SoFi Stadium, with both teams entering under different clouds of uncertainty.
Dallas is looking to rebound after missing the playoffs in 2024, but their headline of the off-season has been the holdout of superstar Micah Parsons. The All-Pro defender is holding out and has made it clear on social media he wants out of Dallas.
First-year head coach Brian Schottenheimer has already confirmed that most of his starters won’t see the field, leaving former New England Patriots QB Joe Milton to lead the offense. Behind an injury-depleted offensive line, Milton could face heavy pressure from a Rams defense eager to test him.
Los Angeles will counter with former Georgia National Champion Stetson Bennett, but his track record hasn’t inspired confidence in sustaining drives. Rams head coach Sean McVay, never a fan of preseason contests, is likely to keep the playbook extremely conservative.
With both offenses facing limitations and the Rams’ slow pace of play, this matchup sets up as an ideal spot to back the under.
Pick: Rams/Cowboys 1H under 17.5 (-120, DraftKings)
