Jets vs Broncos Preview, Parlay Picks

Justin Fields 30+ Passing Attempts

The Jets are the only winless team in the NFL, and their defense is a big reason why.
The Jets are 31st in points allowed per game, 20th in yards per rush and 26th in yards per pass. They have yet to prove they can slow down any caliber of offense.
The Broncos have a big edge with their offensive line in this matchup, which should allow them to move down the field efficiently with tempo, as they rank 10th in seconds per play.
Like we saw last week, a trailing game script means the ball will be put in the hands of Justin Fields, who attempted 46 passes against Dallas.
The market support for the over and Denver remaining a touchdown favorite suggests the Jets will need to throw the ball in a comeback effort again.

Justin Fields 200+ Passing Yards

Building on the angle above, Fields has been very efficient as a passer this season, completing 67 percent of his passes and holding an on-target rate of 74 percent.
While Fields does not stretch the field, the increase in passing volume in trailing game scripts has led to him recording at least 200 passing yards in three of four games this season.

Garrett Wilson 2nd Half Anytime Touchdown

Speaking of volume, the primary beneficiary of this passing volume has been wide receiver Garrett Wilson.
Wilson has garnered 32 percent of the Jets' target share, and we've seen him compile most of that in the second half of games when the Jets are trailing.
However, Wilson has also had a nose for the end zone in these comeback efforts, as he has scored in the second half in three consecutive games.
If the Jets are in need of a score late in this game, expect Fields to look towards Wilson on multiple occasions.
