If you look at the spread for this game, then it really shouldn’t be close — it’s easy to understand why sportsbooks don’t think we’ll see Patriots quarterback Drake Maye use his legs often.

However, if you really dig into the number, then this starts to feel like a value opportunity. The Jets have kept teams to just 190.8 passing yards per game this season while giving up 138.2 yards on the ground.

If Maye struggles with putting up major yardage against this Jets defense, as we saw from other quarterbacks like Baker Mayfield, Dak Prescott and Josh Allen already this season, then he could be forced to use his legs.

It’s not like he doesn’t trust his rushing ability either; he’s had over 5.5 rushes in 7-of-10 games, and he has rushed more as the season has progressed, covering that number in his past five games.

Pick: Drake Maye Over 5.5 Rushing Attempts (+105; bet365)

One other thing we’ve seen Maye do exceptionally well this season is throw touchdown passes, with two or more in 80% of his games entering TNF.

TreVeyon Henderson played lights out last time out and is the most likely scorer here, but his odds are so low that it’s simply not worthwhile. Instead, we’re focusing on who has been catching those Maye touchdown passes.

Stefon Diggs has only scored three touchdowns this season, but the positive news is that those have come in his past three games.

His chemistry with Maye seems to be developing, and he’s becoming a legitimate red-zone threat.

Crucially, the underlying data backs this up, with Diggs leading the Patriots in red-zone targets.

Pick: Stefon Diggs Anytime Touchdown (+135; BetMGM)

Breece Hall Over 15.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

We’re not going to see Garrett Wilson again on Thursday Night Football, which means that Justin Fields’ pass-catchers will be Adonai Mitchell, Arian Smith, Tyler Johnson and Mason Taylor.

This isn’t an elite group by any means, and it seems likely the Jets are going to rely upon their best offensive playmaker, running back Breece Hall, to get things done across the field.

In Weeks 7 and 8, when Wilson was out, we saw Hall get three targets in each game, and although he only turned it into 28 total yards, it was evidence of the team's willingness to get him the football.

Last week, Hall had 42 receiving yards, all coming on one play, highlighting his ability in the open field. That was his fifth game of 16 or more receiving yards in nine games this season, and he should add a sixth on TNF.

Pick: Breece Hall Over 15.5 Receiving Yards (-110; bet365)

Again, we are going to double down on Hall here by backing the former Iowa State man to score a touchdown.

Hall has only scored three touchdowns this season, a surprisingly low figure for a player of his talents, but those have all come in the past two games. It’s not like he hasn’t been efficient all season; he just hasn’t been scoring, averaging 4.8 yards per carry and 10 yards per catch.

There’s a lack of playmakers on this offense with Wilson out, and we know by now that Fields cannot be trusted with his arm.

We’re going to see a lot of Hall, and at these odds, we’re getting a big price for him to reach the end zone.

Pick: Breece Hall Anytime Touchdown (+160; Fanatics)
