The Giants have a recent history of winning — winning their way out of the No. 1 draft pick, that is.

As a Giants fan, I've watched this team win completely meaningless games over the past couple of seasons to tumble out of a top draft spot, which is on the line once again against the Raiders on Sunday afternoon.

The loser of this game will carry the worst record — and the tentative No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft — into the final week of the season, and Giants vs. Raiders odds suggest a "competitive" matchup.

Two of Las Vegas' best players, Maxx Crosby and Brock Bowers, will not play today, while New York's starting left tackle, Andrew Thomas, is also out with injury.

NFL odds give the Giants the slight edge as 2.5-point favorites against the Raiders, and 56% of tickets are laying the points with New York.

The tanking is strong with these teams, but in an interesting turn of events, Action PRO's NFL betting model is pegging the Giants vs. Raiders spread with the largest edge of the entire Week 17 slate.

NFL Odds, Giants vs. Raiders Betting Model Prediction

*Odds as of Sunday morning

As mentioned above, this spread sits at New York -2.5 as of the time of writing.
