For my top Cardinals vs. Cowboys NFL PrizePicks and Underdog plays, I’m highlighting Greg Dortch, Michael Wilson, and Dak Prescott.
By this point in the season, we know the Cowboys secondary is the prime target for opposing offenses.
We should fully expect Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett to have a solid performance and spread the ball around as Dallas tries to contain Marvin Harrison Jr. and Trey McBride.
With those two garnering attention down the field, that should leave some underneath throws open. That is where Greg Dortch comes in.
Dortch is fifth on the Cardinals in targets, averaging 2.3 per game. However, he's been very efficient, boasting a 91 percent catch rate and averaging 4.4 yards per reception.
He likely exceeds this mark with one catch, but we may see him haul in more than one pass tonight.
Next, we stay in the Cardinals' receiving corps and turn our attention to Michael Wilson, who is third on the team in targets, but like Dortch, only averages 3.9 per game.
Wilson plays a much different role, as his size allows him to be a field stretcher and a red-zone weapon. Although that role comes with a lot of targets that are not easy to haul in, that's reflected in his 54 percent catch rate.
Long pass plays have decimated the Cowboys, so I expect them to make a concerted effort to limit those tonight, which will take targets away from Wilson.
Wilson has gone under this total in four of seven games this season, and tonight could mark his fifth.
Dak Prescott is not the first name you think of when naming the NFL's mobile quarterbacks, but he's begun to throw his hat in the ring for that over the last few games. Prescott has averaged five rushing attempts over his last four games.
Tonight, he is facing a Cardinals defense that does not put much pressure on the quarterback but plays good man-to-man coverage, which means there will be rushing lanes for Prescott.
Back him to exceed this total for the fourth time this season.
