The first full Sunday slate of the season gets underway today, and for the most part, the NFL weather report for Week 1 is pleasant.
However, two games could be impacted by rain on Sunday afternoon: Raiders vs. Patriots (1 p.m. ET, CBS) and Panthers vs. Jaguars (1 p.m. ET, FOX).
Of course, weather conditions are important for a wide array of people, including fans attending these games, DFS players and sports bettors looking for edges.
A sloppy field can impact footing while also making it more difficult for quarterbacks to grip the football properly and for receivers to catch slick balls thrown to them.
With this in mind, let's take a detailed look at the updated NFL weather forecasts for Raiders vs. Patriots and Panthers vs. Jaguars in Week 1.
