The first full Sunday slate of the season gets underway today, and for the most part, the NFL weather report for Week 1 is pleasant.

However, two games could be impacted by rain on Sunday afternoon: Raiders vs. Patriots (1 p.m. ET, CBS) and Panthers vs. Jaguars (1 p.m. ET, FOX).

Of course, weather conditions are important for a wide array of people, including fans attending these games, DFS players and sports bettors looking for edges.

A sloppy field can impact footing while also making it more difficult for quarterbacks to grip the football properly and for receivers to catch slick balls thrown to them.

With this in mind, let's take a detailed look at the updated NFL weather forecasts for Raiders vs. Patriots and Panthers vs. Jaguars in Week 1.

NFL Weather Report for Week 1

Panthers vs. Jaguars Weather Report

High temperatures of 84-86 degrees throughout Sunday's game in Jacksonville, with a 50/50 chance of rain as well.

In fact, rain chances jump from 35% at 12 p.m. ET to 51% at 1 p.m. ET — the scheduled start time for Panthers vs. Jaguars.

Live NFL odds list Jacksonville as a 3.5-point favorite against Carolina and an over/under of 46.5.

Raiders vs. Patriots Weather Report

Wet conditions in New England? Say it ain't so!

It'll be cool at Gillette Stadium, including highs between 63 and 65 degrees in Foxborough, Mass.

The rain is stacked toward the first half of the game as well, starting with a 66% chance of precipitation at kickoff, which then steadily dips to 53% at 3 p.m. ET and 43% at 4 p.m. ET.

Updated NFL odds show the Patriots at -2.5 against the Raiders, with the total sitting at 44.
