The lull of the NFL offseason was jolted on Monday with the Cleveland Browns reportedly trading two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for 2024 Defensive Rookie of the Year Jared Verse.

The Rams were already one of the favorites to win the 2026 Super Bowl before acquiring Garrett. In fact, they (and the Ravens) were tied for the highest win total over/under for the upcoming season at 11.5 wins.

Unsurprisingly, Rams futures (to win the NFC West, NFC, Super Bowl, and have the best record in the NFL) have shifted following the blockbuster acquisition. VegasInsiders' Patrick Everson details the NFL odds movement for the Rams below.

Rams-Browns Trade Details

Rams acquire:

  • Myles Garrett

Browns acquire:

  • Jared Verse
  • 1st-round pick (2027)
  • 2nd-round pick (2028)
  • 3rd-round pick (2029)

NFL Futures: Rams Odds on the Move

  • Rams to Win NFC West: +140 to +105
  • Rams to Win NFC: +390 to +310
  • Rams to Win Super Bowl: +700 to +600
  • Rams to Have Best Record: +900 to +700

Super Bowl Odds Impact Following Trade

The NFC West already had a three-headed monster with the Rams, Seahawks and 49ers pre-Myles Garrett trade. Action Network's Director of Research, Evan Abrams, provides an odds update on the trio below:

NFC West Super Bowl Futures

  • Rams: +600
  • Seahawks: +950
  • 49ers: +1800

The 2026 NFC West is the first division since 2020 (NFC South — Buccaneers, Saints) to feature two teams with Super Bowl odds of 10-1 or shorter.

Taking it a step further, the '26 NFC West is the first division since 2016 to have two teams explicitly under 10-1 (Rams at 6-1, Seahawks at 9.5-1). The last division to accomplish this? Also the NFC West (Cardinals, Seahawks).

This year's NFC West is the first division since the 2004 NFC East to have three teams listed at 20-1 or shorter while also having at least one team under 10-1. Thanks to the Garrett trade, the NFC West has two teams under 10-1.
