I will gladly take the points with the Bucs tonight. While Tampa has struggled over the last month, this remains one of the best teams in the NFC.
The Bucs rank 10th in the NFL in points scored per game (25.2) as Baker Mayfield has kept the team afloat despite missing the likes of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Bucky Irving for most of the season.
I expect Mayfield and the Bucs to score enough points and stay within the number tonight. Per Evan Abrams' Week 12 betting primer, when Mayfield and the Bucs are coming off of a loss, they are 13-5 against the spread (ATS) in their next game. In his career, Mayfield is 17-8 ATS when listed as an underdog following a loss, including 12-4 ATS in this spot in the last five seasons (since 2021).
