Ravens vs Steelers Prop Picks, Preview
Kenneth Gainwell Over 4.5 Receptions (+100)

There are two key pieces of information heading into this game. Firstly, the Steelers are underdogs, and on paper, that means we’re likely to see them pass more.
Secondly, only two teams have given up more receptions to opposing running backs than the Ravens, who also rank fourth in receiving yardage allowed to the position, too, highlighting that it’s an area of weakness.
Kenneth Gainwell is a fairly unspectacular running back, solid as a pass protector but pretty good with his hands.
Across this season, he’s averaged four receptions per game, but he’s broken 4.5 in three of his past four games, one of which was a six-catch game against this same opposition. With the Ravens giving up an average of five receptions per game to RBs, and Gainwell leading the Steelers in receptions, it feels inevitable.
Pick: Kenneth Gainwell Over 4.5 Receptions (+100; Hard Rock)
Marquez Valdes-Scantling Over 2.5 Receptions (+115) | 5+ Receptions (+561)

My favorite line for this game is backing Marquez Valdes-Scantling to hit the Over on 2.5 receptions at plus money. While Calvin Austin has returned from injury and will play, the team is still without the suspended DK Metcalf, who leads the WR corps in targets, and, as with Gainwell, the game script could favor the Steelers passing.
Last week, without Austin and Metcalf, we saw Valdes-Scantling disappoint with just three receptions and 21 yards. However, the real story is that Aaron Rodgers targeted him nine times. The volume was there, and even with Austin returning, it’s Valdes-Scantling who offers the serious vertical threat in this WR room.
As well as hitting the Over on Valdes-Scantling’s reception line, we’re also having a sprinkle on him to have five or more receptions. This is a guy who has earned Rodgers’ trust with the Packers and clearly still has that faith from his quarterback.
If the Ravens click on offense, then the Steelers will have to pass a lot, and given how bad the Ravens are against the pass, I want to take big odds on Valdes-Scantling getting five or more grabs. Even six receptions at +1020 is worth a small sprinkle too.
Let’s ladder this!
Pick: Marquez Valdes-Scantling Over 2.5 Receptions (+115 ; DraftKings) | 5+ Receptions (+561; DraftKings)
Mark Andrews Over 28.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

If Valdes-Scantling is Rodgers’ faithful pass catcher, then on the other sideline, we have to look at Mark Andrews. The tight end is leading in both targets and receptions on the Ravens roster this season and has long been a favorite of Lamar Jackson.
Andrews' season average is 25.5 receiving yards per game, but this is a real standout matchup for him. The Steelers rank third in yardage allowed to tight ends, giving up an average of 67.1 yards per game to the TE position.
There’s always the risk of Isaiah Likely eating into targets, but Andrews has the experience and has a solid floor with at least three targets per game, and often more, since the second week of the season.
Pick: Mark Andrews Over 28.5 Receiving Yards (-110; DraftKings)
Mark Andrews Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+220)

Given they give up so many receiving yards to tight ends, it’s not a surprise that the Steelers also rank tied second in touchdowns allowed to the position with 11 in 16 games so far. With that knowledge, we’re going back to the well with Andrews and backing the 30-year-old to score.
He is the tight end worth betting to score, with Andrews having five touchdowns on the season, compared with Likely’s one. He also leads the entire team in red-zone targets, with over double that of Likely this season.
Pick: Mark Andrews Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+220; Hard Rock)
