Steelers vs Chargers Prop Picks, Preview
Aaron Rodgers Over 0.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Aaron Rodgers is nearly as dismissive of rushing as he is science, but given he's 41 years old, it’s no surprise the Steelers quarterback doesn’t use his legs very often.
That said, we’ve seen just one game this season in which we’ve not a rushing attempt for the former MVP.
Through eight games, he’s had one or more rushing yards on five occasions. That’s only marginally over 50% but there’s reason for optimism here, with the Chargers giving up 220 rushing yards to quarterbacks this season, the fourth most in the NFL, at an average of 27.5 per game.
Rodgers isn’t somebody like Jayden Daniels, who put up 39 yards against the Chargers, but the veteran is more than capable of getting us the one yard needed.
Pick: Aaron Rodgers Over 0.5 Rushing Yards (-110; bet365)
Justin Herbert Over 0.5 Interceptions (+102)

We’re going for another more unusual quarterback player prop and taking Justin Herbert to have an interception on Sunday Night Football.
Firstly, we need to consider the Steelers defense — a solid unit that ranks in the top half of defenses in the NFL. Crucially, they have eight interceptions in eight games, with only five teams having more than them this season, and they’re fresh from causing Daniel Jones a lot of problems.
Herbert himself hasn’t been as careful with the football this season, with eight interceptions through his first nine games.
To put it into context, that’s more than he’s had in either of the previous two seasons. He’s on a bad run with four in the past three games and had only one game without an interception in his previous seven.
Pick: Justin Herbert Over 0.5 Interceptions (+102; DraftKings)
Justin Herbert Over 252.5 Passing Yards (-114)

It’s not going to be all bad news for Herbert though with the Chargers quarterback primed for a big evening.
No team in the NFL is giving up more passing yards per game than the Steelers, who have allowed an average of 278.3 yards per game this season, a full 18.2 yards more than the next-closest team. In the past three games, they’ve seen Daniel Jones, Joe Flacco and Jordan Love all throw for more than 300 yards on them.
Herbert has broken 252.5 passing yards in just four of his nine games this season, but he has been within touching distance of that mark in two other games, and has only had the one game under 200 yards.
The Chargers are heavily reliant on the run, but with the Steelers being so poor against the pass, and comparatively better at stopping the run — ranking in the middle of the table — it makes sense to put the game on Herbert’s arm.
Pick: Justin Herbert Over 252.5 Passing Yards (-114; FanDuel)
Oronde Gadsden II Over 52.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

If Herbert has a big game, then it’s almost certain that Oronde Gadsden II will too.
The rookie has had a great start to his debut season. The Steelers are averaging 72.6 yards per game allowed to tight ends and with Gadsden now assuming the role of TE1 in L.A., we should see him get near that mark.
After missing the first two games of the season, we saw Gadsden get 11 targets in his first three games for the Chargers. Since then, he’s become a key part of this offense with 27 targets in his following five games.
We’ve seen him get 68 or more receiving yards in his previous four games and with the Steelers ranking third in yardage allowed to TEs per game, he should continue that run.
Pick: Oronde Gadsden Over 52.5 Receiving Yards (-114; FanDuel)
