Eagles vs Cowboys Preview, Parlay Picks

Header First Logo

Cowboys +8.5

There are few rivalries in sports better than the Eagles and Cowboys.

Philadelphia will begin its quest to earn its second consecutive Super Bowl on Thursday Night while Dallas will be searching for answers after a disappointing 2024 campaign and Micah Parsons's recent departure.

Despite the Eagles being favored by more than a touchdown, I anticipate a close, back-and-forth game tonight.

While the Eagles are clearly the more talented team, Dallas has enough offensive firepower to hang around.

The Eagles have serious concerns in their secondary, specifically with their second cornerback and both safety positions.

Dak Prescott will have his way in the passing game with his top two weapons, CeDee Lamb and first-year Cowboy George Pickens.

George Pickens Over 53.5 Receiving Yards

As mentioned, the Eagles' secondary is not as strong as it was last season following the departures of Darius Slay and C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

CeeDee Lamb will draw most of the attention in this matchup, which should leave George Pickens with mismatches throughout this contest.

Pickens has always possessed WR1 talent but was stuck in a Steelers offense that didn't maximize his potential. He's set up for a breakout game in his Cowboys debut and I think the former Georgia standout will soar past this number.

Eagles vs Cowboys Parlay

  • Cowboys +8.5
  • George Pickens Over 53.5 Receiving Yards

Parlay odds: +185 (BetMGM)
