Vikings vs Lions Preview, Parlay Picks
The Minnesota Vikings will host the Detroit Lions on Christmas Day.
Minnesota has been eliminated from playoff contention and will attempt to play spoiler against its rivals late in the season.
The Vikings will start former Minnesota signal-caller Max Brosmer, as J.J. McCarthy was injured last weekend.
A lot needs to go right for Detroit to make the playoffs. Dan Campbell’s squad must win today to keep its slim playoff hopes alive.
California native Jared Goff leads the offense with 4,036 passing yards, 32 touchdowns and five interceptions.
Lions -7.5

I expect the Lions to take advantage of the shorthanded Vikings today.
Max Brosmer has really struggled under center this season, and points will be at a premium for this Vikings offense.
Despite the team’s struggles this season, the Lions offense remains one of the most lethal in football. Detroit should outpace Minnesota on its way to a comfortable victory.
Evan Abrams notes in his NFL Week 17 betting primer that Jared Goff is 8-1 against the spread (ATS) against the Vikings as a member of the Lions. The Goff-Campbell pairing is 10-2 ATS in road dome games.
Jahmyr Gibbs 25+ Receiving Yards

We will team up with our Action Pro Report for this prop.
Gibbs has been one of the best receiving running backs in the NFL over the last couple of years and draws a favorable matchup.
The former Alabama standout has cashed this prop in 9-of-15 games this season. He was featuring heavily in the passing game last week, catching 10-of-13 targets for 66 yards and a touchdown.
Our Action Pro Report projects 41 receiving yards.
