Trump speaks at Dalton Municipal Airport in northwest Georgia on Friday as the 2026 midterm elections near. Polymarket’s word board has “Oil/Gas/Gasoline” at 97%, “Dividend/Stimulus” at 96%, “Ossoff” at 95% and “America First” at 26%. Here's what you need to know about Trump's Georgia rally and how to trade his word market.
When and Where: Trump’s Dalton Rally Schedule
- What: A Trump rally for Rep. Mike Collins, who is challenging Sen. Jon Ossoff, and for Rick Jackson, the Republican nominee for governor against Keisha Lance Bottoms.
- When: Friday, October 16, 2026. Doors at 11:30 a.m. ET, program at 1:30 p.m. ET, Trump expected around 3 p.m. ET (2 p.m. CT). Local outlets list different start times, so check the stream.
- Where: Dalton Municipal Airport, Dalton, Ga. Whitfield County is one of the most Republican parts of the state.
- Who else: Collins is expected. Jackson and other Georgia Republicans may appear.
- Why now: Early voting opened October 13 and runs through October 30. Decision Desk HQ polling has Ossoff up 52% to 43%, and Ossoff had about $42 million cash on hand to Collins’ $2 million at the end of June. This is Trump’s third Georgia stop of 2026, after Rome in February and Marietta in July.

Why Trump Is Rallying in Dalton Now
Dalton is a turnout stop, not a persuasion stop. Trump’s rallies are built to get reliable Republicans to the polls, and Collins needs every one of them in the northwest corner of the state.
Here’s the context: Trump has already given the Georgia version of this speech twice this year. In Rome he called Ossoff “a real stiff.” In Marietta he named Ossoff five times and tied him to the border, tax cuts and ICE. The Ossoff section is a known quantity.
Here’s the bigger story: the midterm stump speech barely changes from night to night. Across Syracuse, Clarksville and Youngstown last week, the same blocks ran in roughly the same order: the $5,000 “Trump dividend,” the Iran war and gas prices, and a list of the Democrat’s votes. The top of this board is that core. The bottom is the material that only shows up on some nights.

Ossoff: The Near-Lock Word on the Board (95%)
Trump has said Ossoff’s name at both of his Georgia stops this year (four times in Rome, five in Marietta). A Senate rally where the challenger is down nine points needs a villain, and Ossoff is the only one on the ballot. This is as close to a lock as the board gets.
Dividend and Stimulus: Trump’s Closing Pitch (96%)
The “Trump dividend” is the closing promise of every midterm rally: $5,000 to every adult citizen if Republicans hold the House and Senate. It came up in San Antonio, Syracuse, Clarksville and Youngstown. He tends to say it more than once a night, which leaves little room for a miss.

Iran, Supreme Court, and Sanctuary: The Swing Words to Watch
One sustained war section clears this. Trump said “Iran” nine times in Syracuse and eight in Youngstown. In Clarksville he stopped at four, which would have been a No. The count depends on whether he runs the full war riff or folds it into a gas-price line.
Supreme Court — 65%
This shows up in his attack on Democrats, not in praise of the Court. “They want to pack the Supreme Court with 23” ran in Grand Island, Clarksville and Youngstown. Ossoff is a sitting senator, so the “end the Senate, pack the Court” line has an obvious target in Georgia.
Sanctuary — 61%
“Voted in favor of deadly sanctuary cities” is a line in the voting-record attack. It came up at four of his last seven rallies (Vandalia, San Antonio, Syracuse, Youngstown). It missed in Clarksville and Grand Island. Ossoff has six years of Senate votes for Trump to read off, so whether the word lands depends on whether the Ossoff section runs as a list of votes.
Israel / Israeli — 32%
Israel rides along with the Iran section. “I stopped them from destroying Israel” and the hostage story came up in Syracuse, San Antonio and Grand Island, at least three of his last seven rallies. The board has Iran five-plus at 74% and Israel at 32%, a wide gap for two words that tend to show up together.
America First — 26%
Trump uses this as a candidate tag, not a slogan. In Youngstown it was “keep America first with Sen. Jon Husted,” and in Mobile it came in a made-in-America riff. It did not come up in Syracuse, Clarksville, San Antonio, Grand Island or Vandalia. Two of seven is roughly where the market has it.
The Trade: Is Israel Underpriced Next to Iran?
Israel at 32% (Yes 37¢) looks cheap next to Iran five-plus at 74%. When Trump runs the full Iran section, Israel usually comes with it through the “destroying Israel” line or the hostage deal, and that happened at least three times in his last seven rallies.
The risk is Youngstown, where he said “Iran” eight times and never said “Israel.” If the war section sticks to gas prices and sunk ships, this goes to zero. The book is about 5¢ wide (Yes 37¢, No 68¢), but the whole board has traded only about $17K so far, so keep size small and use limit orders.
