The United States Men's National Team aims to deliver a strong performance at the 2026 World Cup as one of the three hosts. The USMNT, coached by Mauricio Pochettino, has a good mix of young and experienced talent, with many players showing solid performances in the top European leagues.

As such, it's hard to predict who will be the USMNT's top goal scorer, but Kalshi does let us predict who will score.

USA Goalscorers Market Odds

Analyzing the USA Goalscorers Market

Haji Wright

The USMNT's super-sub, Wright's towering frame and tough, physical style of play make him an absolute nightmare for opposing center-backs. Under Pochettino, he's played as both a traditional hold-up No. 9 or a map out wide on the left flank, ensuring there's always a spot for him sooner or later.

Wright is coming off an incredible season with Coventry City, scoring 18 goals across all competitions to help propel his club to the top of the league and secure an automatic promotion to the English Premier League.

Having already scored for the USA in the knockout stages in Qatar, he has a knack for finding the back of the net, making his market line incredibly attractive.

Christian Pulisic

"Captain America" remains the marquee figure and the heartbeat of the USMNT. Pulisic is one of the core veteran returnees from the Qatar 2022 squad, and one of only three players on the roster who has already proven he can score on the world's biggest stage.

Pochettino's team starts in a 4-2-3-1, but quickly shifts to a 3-5-2 in possession. This allows Pulisic to drift inward from the wing into a central attacking role, frequently putting him in prime position to unleash shots or receive back passes.

While he started 2026 without many goals, he snapped a six-month drought during a late-May friendly victory over Senegal. Arguably the biggest star in USA soccer history, he's never a bad pick to get on the scoresheet.

Folarin Balogun

The starting man up front for Pochettino, Balogun is primed for a breakout tournament after an outstanding club season with AS Monaco. He racked up 19 goals and five assists across all competitions, including 13 in Ligue 1 and five in the UEFA Champions League. His spring form included an eight-game domestic scoring streak and a stretch of 11 goals in 11 matches.

Balogun's top mobility and movement in the box are key for the USMNT. Under Pochettino, over 24% of Balogun's touches occur directly inside the opposition's penalty area. With the former Arsenal man needing little service to make teams pay, he's the team's most reliable finisher and a solid option.
