You could not ask for a better contest to start this week’s Champions League action, with Borussia Dortmund hosting Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Round of 16 tie.

Dortmund, the high-flying power currently sitting in third in Germany’s Bundesliga, is looking to get through the Round of 16 after being eliminated by Tottenham at this juncture last year. This game is hard to get a real grasp in terms of picking a side. Dortmund will look to establish itself as a true world power by getting through PSG, but the French side can focus all of their attention on the Champions League since Ligue 1 is all but wrapped up. BVB will need to get a result at home, so I expect them to go for it from the opening whistle.
