Premier League action continues to heat up Wednesday, with another six matches on the schedule. And that means we have two more best bets ahead of the latest showdowns on the docket.

Soccer analysts Jeremy Pond and Brett Pund deliver their top picks on the card, with their selections coming from fixtures featuring Wolves vs. Burnley and Southampton vs. Leicester City.

Check out below how our handicappers are playing these matchups and what kind of value they've found ahead of these confrontations.

Jeremy Pond: Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea.

That's who is right around the corner for Wolves on their Premier League schedule. And making matters worse, they're all on the slate inside the next three weeks. So, yeah… not so much fun.

So, to say Wolverhampton is facing the definition of a must-win situation in its clash with Burnley would be a true understatement.

Sure, the Clarets have only suffered a single loss in their last seven league affairs and come in more rested after being snowed out this past weekend. However, they've been one of the worst defensive sides in the English top flight, earning a single shutout and conceding a brutal 20 goals in 13 games.

Bottom line, this is an absolute three-point target for the host side with such a brutal stretch of fixtures awaiting them. If the club is unable to come out victorious, this could be the turning point of their season and crushing for its dreams of making European soccer next season.

That said, I'm playing this match and backing Wolves on the three-way moneyline at -110 odds via DraftKings and making it my top pick.

Pond's Pick: Wolves ML (-110)

Southampton vs. Leicester City

Southampton Odds+145
Leicester Odds+190

Brett Pund: Leicester City makes a midweek trip to Southampton in a match where I’m expecting to see plenty of goals.

That said, my best bet for this contest is a Same Game Parlay combining Both Teams To Score (Yes) with the total over 2.5 goals at -110 odds.

For both clubs, their attacking advanced metrics are much better than their defensive stats. The Foxes come enter this game ranking fourth in non-penalty expected goals per match (1.46), but they're 18th in shots allowed per 90 minutes (15.7) and 13th in NPxG allowed/game (1.47) this season.

Southampton has similar numbers. Manager Ralph Hasenhüttl’s squad has posted the seventh-most NPxG/match (1.24), but the Saints rank 12th in the same statistic defensively and 18th in big scoring chances allowed.

You then look at how Leicester City has performed away from home in the league this season, where the Both Teams To Score Wager has cashed in all six fixtures to go with an average of 3.33 goals per game.

Although Southampton’s home games have seen the fewest goals scored than any other EPL side this season, the Saints are due some positive scoring regression based on the above advanced metrics.

I see both teams finding the back of the bet, which makes this a live parlay.

Pund's Pick: Same Game Parlay: Both Teams To Score — Yes & Total Over 2.5 Goals (-110)
