World Cup Group H Advancement Scenarios
- Spain: A win clinches top spot in the group. A draw puts them in some potential tiebreaking scenarios with a Cape Verde win. A draw and a Cape Verde draw/loss means Spain win the group. A loss allows spain to finish second or third in the group.
- Uruguay: A win over Spain gives them first in the group if Cape Verde does not win. If Cape Verde win, it comes down to tiebreakers. A draw advances Uruguay with 98-99% probability according to the Third Place Dashboard. A loss and Uruguay is out.
- Cape Verde: Like Uruguay, a draw advances Cape Verde with 98-99% probability. A win gives them a chance to win the group, but they either need to flip goal differential on Spain if Spain draw Uruguay, or gain goal differential on Uruguay in the event of an Uruguay win. If Cape Verde win but Spain win, they finish second in the group.
- Saudi Arabia: Bust win to advance.
World Cup Group H Futures
Remember, Spain have played much of this tournament without Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams. With those two, they are likely the best team in the world.
