Sky vs. Storm Preview
Chicago has found some recent success in the second half of the season with three wins in its previous five games. Seattle is on the opposite end of the spectrum. The Storm are sliding fast and will enter Monday's matchup having lost 11 consecutive contests. However, that doesn't mean their key players haven't been producing. The members of their young core are putting the ball in the basket at a high level.
Seattle averages the third-fewest points per game (83.0), but its offense is trending in the right direction during its losing streak. The Storm have averaged 88.9 points per game during their losing streak, which stretches back to June 9. Rookie guard Flau'jae Johnson and second-year standout Dominique Malonga have been at the center of that growth. Both of them were among the five Storm players who scored at least 11.0 points in Seattle's latest 95-90 loss to Chicago, and the Sky's defense hasn't shown signs of improvement.
Chicago kicked off the year with an elite defense, but injuries have limited their upside significantly for most of the season. The Sky's defense is on track to give up at least 90.0 points per game for a third consecutive month. That could make point total props enticing for several Storm players on Monday.

Sky vs. Storm Prediction
Johnson averaged 11.4 points per game with poor shooting percentages in her first month of WNBA action, but has since turned things around. She's averaged at least 14.0 points per game in every month since then and has exploded for some big nights during the Storm's current losing streak. That included a 25-point outburst against Chicago in July.
Johnson has averaged 15.9 points while attempting 13.2 field goals per contest over the Storm's previous 11 games. Only Natisha Heideman has topped her in minutes per game (28.3) during that stretch.
It's clear that Seattle is committed to letting its young players play through adversity, and Johnson should have her hands on the ball early and often in this rematch.
Best Bet: Flau'jae Johnson Over 13.5 Points (-115, DraftKings)
