Mystics vs. Storm Preview
Don't expect a shootout in this one, as Seattle and Washington are both in the bottom half of the league so far when it comes to offensive production. However, each side has impressive individual performers that they can depend on.
Sonia Citron has taken a major step forward in just her second pro season. The former Notre Dame guard has increased her scoring average from 14.9 points to 20.0 since her rookie season. Her efficiency has climbed alongside her raw production, as she's shooting 59.1% from the field on the year.
While Citron is coming off her worst stat line of the season, she can rebound in a big way against Seattle.
The Storm won't have second-year phenom Dominque Malonga, who is now averaging 16.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game in her first season as a regular starter. She's been ruled out with a concussion as she has been a big-time contributor on both sides of the ball in 2026.
Seattle has the league's second-lowest scoring offense (79.2 points per game), with Malonga leading the charge, but her length on defense has been a key deterrent, limiting opponents to just 81.2 points per game.
Washington has plenty of size in the frontcourt and could have a field day down low without a 6'6" stopper in the way.

Mystics vs. Storm Prediction
Kiki Iriafen and Shakira Austin have dominated the glass as Washington's twin towers this season. The duo has combined for 21.3 rebounds per game through four outings in 2026.
Iriafen does the heavy lifting with an average of 12.8 boards, but Austin's total is a little more appealing in this contest.
Austin, 6'5", is the taller member of the duo and has notched at least nine boards in three of the four games she's appeared in this season.
She only failed to reach nine rebounds in her last game, when the Mystics suffered a 92-69 blowout loss to the Dallas Wings. Her playing time was cut short when the game was out of reach down the stretch.
Austin is averaging a career-high 30.3 minutes per game and will face a Seattle team that gives up the second-most rebounds per game (36.3) to opposing teams.
She's in a great spot to go over her total with Malonga out of the rotation.
Best Bet: Shakira Austin Over 8.5 Rebounds (-102, FanDuel)
