Eric Gaston

Education

Eric graduated from St. John's University in 2023 with a B.S. in Journalism. 

Experience

During his time at St. John's University, Gaston was trying to build a name for himself in the sports media industry. He started off as a contributing writer for the Daily Knicks of FanSided, before gaining an internship for a locally-focused sports media outlet called BVM Sports, where he had a chance to interview college athletes, coaches, and athletic directors. Through networking, Gaston was able to get bylines for Sports Illustrated, where he covered the Detroit Pistons, along with covering the New York Knicks for Heavy Sports. He graduated from St. John's University in 2023, and continued as a freelancer before joining The Action Network.
