- February 15, 2023 - State Sen. Joseph P. Addabbo Jr. introduced Senate Bill S4856. - January 17, 2023 - State Assemblyman James Gary Pretlow introduced Bill No. A01380 to legalize and regulate online poker (Omaha Hold’em and Texas Hold’em and any material equivalent) as games of skill. The bill failed to reach a vote. With Pretlow up for re-election in 2024, it remains possible the bill may see legislative action in the next session.
