JuJu Smith-Schuster is returning to Pittsburgh.

The Pro Bowl wide receiver has agreed to a one-year, $8 million contract with the Steelers in spite of receiving better offers from the Ravens and Chiefs, as reported by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport on Friday.

Bob Labriola of Steelers.com previously reported that the 24-year-old receiver and social media star would become an unrestricted free agent "despite his pronouncements on social media" to the contrary because the Steelers would not be able to make him a competitive offer.

Smith-Schuster was selected by the Steelers in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. The USC product quickly made an impact and caught 917 yard and seven touchdowns in his rookie year. His best year by far came in 2018 where he caught 111 passes for 1,426 yards and seven touchdowns.

The past two years have been disappointing for Smith-Schuster, who missed four games in 2019 due to a concussion and knee injury. He drew criticism this past season for dancing on opponents' midfield logos for TikTok videos and finished the year with a tepid 97 catches for 831 yards and nine touchdowns.

Smith-Schuster, Chase Claypool and Diontae Johnson will remain the top receivers on the Steelers' depth chart heading into the 2021 NFL season . Both Claypool, 22, and Johnson, 24, finished with more receiving yards than Smith-Schuster in 2020.
