DraftKings Online Sportsbook

DraftKings launched its online sportsbook in New Jersey on Aug. 6, 2018. With the launch, the daily fantasy sports site allows those in New Jersey the ability to place online sports bets from anywhere in the state.

FanDuel Online Sportsbook

FanDuel, another popular daily fantasy sports site, launched its online sportsbook in New Jersey on Sept. 1, 2018. It became the fourth online sportsbook in the state of New Jersey, with online betting capabilities also offered by DraftKings, playMGM, and SugarHouse whose online sports betting offerings all launched throughout August 2018.

PlayMGM Sports App

MGM Resorts’ playMGM sports betting app launched on Aug. 22, 2018, in New Jersey. It was the second mobile online sportsbook in the state, launching three weeks after DraftKings’ online offering. The app, available on both Android and iOS devices, operates separately from MGM’s New Jersey online casino and is different from the one offered in Nevada.

PlaySugarHouse Online Casino

SugarHouse launched its online casino in New Jersey on Aug. 23, 2018, through its continued licensing agreement with Golden Nugget Atlantic City. The Philadelphia-area casino was the third online sportsbook to open in New Jersey, preceded by DraftKings and playMGM.

William Hill Online Sportsbook

William Hill launched the mobile sports betting app on Sept. 2, 2018.

888 Sportsbook

888 Sportsbook, also known as 888 Sport, launched on Sept. 10, 2018. The mobile betting app is run by Caesars.

BetStars Sportsbook

In early September 2018, BetStars, owned by the Stars Group, went live with online and mobile betting in New Jersey.

FanDuel Sportsbook at The Meadowlands Racetrack

In a partnership with FanDuel, the Meadowlands Racetrack opened a physical sportsbook on July 14, 2018. The racetrack sits within the same complex as MetLife Stadium, where the New York Giants and New York Jets play. It’s also very close to the New York border and New York City, making it a prime location for cross-state traffic.

The sportsbook currently has long-term partnerships with Betfair US, which is the U.S. arm of Paddy Power Betfair.

The FanDuel Sportsbook at Meadowlands Racetrack is open seven days a week and is located at 1 Racetrack Drive, East Rutherford, New Jersey 07073.

Monmouth Park

Monmouth Park Racetrack was the first sportsbook to accept bets in the state of New Jersey, opening its operations on June 14, 2018. Monmouth Park is run by William Hill.

Caesars, Bally’s, & Harrah’s

Bally’s Atlantic City and Harrah’s Resort, two Caesars properties, have renovated areas of their casinos to become temporary sportsbooks. Bally’s also handles sports betting action for the namesake Caesars Atlantic City, which is in a connected building.

Borgata

Borgata Hotel and Casino went live with legal sports betting on June 14, 2018. Borgata is owned by MGM.

Ocean Resort Casino

Located on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, the Ocean Resort Casino opened on June 28, 2018. It is run by William Hill.

Golden Nugget

The Golden Nugget sportsbook launched on Aug. 15, 2018. It is located in Atlantic City.

Tropicana

On Oct. 25, 2018, Tropicana began accepting bets. Tropicana is located in Atlantic City and run by William Hill.

Hard Rock Atlantic City

Located by the Boardwalk, the Hard Rock Atlantic City went live in June 2018. It is formerly the Trump Taj Mahal. Hard Rock is partnered with Bet365, Unibet and Gaming Innovation Group.
