MLB Home Run Picks for August 31

Brice Turang (+900)
at Blue Jays (SP: RHP Max Scherzer)

I'm going hard on the Brewers lefties, as the spot vs. Max Scherzer is a great one.
Scherzer isn't the same pitcher he used to be, and he's been crushed by lefty power, allowing a massive 2.21 HR/9 to go along with a fly-ball rate near 60%.
I have the true odds on Brice Turang around +725.

Juan Soto (+400)
vs Marlins (SP: RHP Sandy Alcantara)

Juan Soto has been on a tear recently, hitting three home runs in the last two games.
The matchup against Sandy Alcantara is an above-average one for lefty power, and the weather over in New York is neutral.
I have the true odds on Soto around +350.

Mookie Betts (+450)
vs Diamondbacks (SP: RHP Brandon Pfaadt)

I'm going hard on the Dodgers righties, as this spot is far too good. Brandon Pfaadt is a plus overall matchup for righties, giving up a 1.4 HR/9.
The weather in Los Angeles is fantastic for hitting, with the wind blowing out at 6 MPH and temperatures in the 90s.
Mookie Betts is having an off year, but given the great spot, I have the true odds under +400.

Teoscar Hernandez (+375)
vs Diamondbacks (SP: RHP Brandon Pfaadt)

Another Dodgers righty I'm targeting is Teoscar Hernandez. As mentioned, there is great weather, and I like the matchup versus Pfaadt.
I generally don't put too much weight into home/road splits, but the Arizona starter has been one of the worst pitchers in the league on the road this season, giving up a massive 2.58 HR/9 on the road compared to 0.35 HR/9 at home.
I have the true odds on Hernandez under +300.
