The UFC rarely main events a pay-per-view event with a non-title fight, but this one is an exception.
Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington are former teammates turned rivals, and now that each has lost (twice apiece) to welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, there’s nothing to do but fight each other.
Masvidal has proven himself as a PPV draw, while Covington’s persona makes people either like him or absolutely despise him.
The rest of the main card features perennial entertainers Kevin Holland and Alex Oliveira facing off, as well as Bryce Mitchell facing his toughest test in Edson Barboza. Rafael Dos Anjos will face Renato Moicano after Rafael Fiziev was forced to withdraw after getting COVID.
