Another weekend in May means another weekend full of college baseball.

Each weekend gets even more important as conference tournaments inch closer, beginning on May 21 and extending out to May 26. Then, Memorial Day brings the announcement of the NCAA Regional field.

Before we get to projections for this weekend's college baseball series, here are notes on a few of the Top 25 movers after another weekend of college baseball.

College Baseball Odds, Picks

Moving Up

  • Wake Forest (+1400) continues to lurk in the national polls after a perfect 5-0 week. The Demon Deacons will wrap the season with Clemson and NC State. A series win in both matchups will only amplify Wake's national title hopes.
  • Georgia (+4000) made the biggest leap of any team after a perfect week that included a sweep of Vanderbilt. Third baseman Charlie Condon continues to be appointment viewing with 33 home runs compared to 35 strikeouts on the season. A series victory over both South Carolina and Florida to end the regular season will all but lock up a Regional host bid for the Bulldogs, giving their futures plenty of value.

Charlie Condon swats his 33rd homer of the season, tying the all-time season record in the BBCOR era.

  • UC Santa Barbara (+10000) is the heavy favorite to close out the Big West Conference over UC Irvine (+7000). The Gauchos lost a series to the Anteaters but hold a two-game lead with three series to go. UC Santa Barbara will end the season against Cal State Bakersfield, Cal State Northridge and UC Riverside.

Moving Down

  • Troy (+13000) took a crucial loss to Louisiana in Game 3 over the weekend. A victory by the Trojans would have put them in a tie at the top of the Sun Belt standings. Instead, Louisiana (+10000) is in line to win the conference's automatic bid. The Ragin' Cajuns end the season with Georgia Southern and South Alabama, but neither opponent is a threat in the conference race.

  • Oklahoma State (+9000) lost the weekend series to Texas, while Oklahoma (+7000) swept a road series at Texas Tech. The Sooners now hold a three-game lead with six conference games remaining. The only pressure on Oklahoma over the final two weekends is a chance to host a Regional in Norman.
  • Texas A&M (+500) and Arkansas (+600) both lost weekend series on the road. This marks the Razorbacks' second consecutive series loss in the SEC. Tennessee (+750), meanwhile, has ascended to the top spot in the national polls but still trails Kentucky (+2000) in the SEC East.

In our weekly projections, sides are based on a calculation of ERA, FIP and xFIP. The total is based on the same numbers, along with calculated BaseRuns and park factors.
