The ACC's depth will be on full display as the Boston College Eagles travel to Cameron Indoor Stadium to take on the Duke Blue Devils. Boston College is just 4-7 in conference play, but still four games over .500 overall.

As for their opponents, the Duke Blue Devils are right in the mix to be the top contender in the conference. However, a nine-point road loss to UNC last Saturday was an early blow to Duke's resume.

Duke's loss to UNC was just its second loss in its past 10 games. So, with the Blue Devils bound to get back on track, what's the best way to bet on this matchup?

Boston College Eagles

The Eagles' record in conference play has to be a bit disappointing after they impressed in non-conference play.

Boston College's upside comes from its prowess on the offensive end of the floor. The Eagles are 65th in adjusted offensive efficiency and 88th in effective field goal percentage. Those numbers stem from a dynamic offense that features four double-digit scorers.

You can't talk about the Eagles without mentioning Quinten Post. He's a matchup nightmare as a seven-footer with the ability to both dominate the paint and shoot the 3. In fact, he's shooting 43% from 3 this season.

Duke's Kyle Filipowski and Mark Mitchell have shown that they can control the glass and protect the rim, so Boston College will need to look for other ways to score.

Post will have to work from the outside in, but also look for Claudell Harris Jr. to attack from the perimeter. Duke is 169th in 3-point percentage allowed, and Harris is a high-volume perimeter shooter who's converted nearly 40% of his attempts from downtown.

Duke Blue Devils

The Eagles are certainly a better offensive club than their recent record shows, but the Duke Blue Devils have proven to be a juggernaut on the offensive end. Duke is ninth in adjusted offensive efficiency and 27th in effective field goal rate.

Duke has a size and skill advantage in the paint, but this may be a game in which the backcourt takes over. The Eagles have been most vulnerable in the mid-range and beyond.

Jeremy Roach, Tyrese Proctor and Jared McCain have all shown that they can drain shots from a distance. Look for them to lead the charge in this one.

Betting Pick & Prediction

All signs point to the over in this matchup. The Blue Devils have multiple ways to attack the Eagles. On top of their shot-making abilities, the Blue Devils also don't turn the ball over, which will only increase their chances of putting points on the board each possession.

On the other side, we're going to see Boston College show its athleticism as Post's ability to stretch the floor will be critical. If he can draw out Duke's size, we may see opportunities in the paint open up for others. However, the Eagles' prowess from beyond the arc will be key.

Take the over.
