The Coastal Athletic Association Tournament tips off Friday with an opening-round matchup between the North Carolina A&T Aggies and the Northeastern Huskies (2 p.m. ET, FloCollege) at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C.

Northeastern vs. North Carolina A&T odds give the Aggies a small edge based on the 1.5-point spread heading into today's matchup.

Twelfth-seeded North Carolina A&T enters the tournament with an 11-18 overall record and are looking to snap a late-season slide after falling to Campbell in their regular-season finale.

On the other side, the 13th-seeded Huskies find themselves in a challenging position with a 6-23 record, having struggled through a 10-game losing streak to close out February.

Despite their recent difficulties, Northeastern can look back on its New Year's Eve victory over the Aggies for confidence, a game in which Xavier Abreu provided a significant offensive spark.
