Wofford’s Statistical Profile
Wofford basketball is having a moment. The Terriers (29-4) went 18-0 in league play and the team’s only losses were to ranked opponents (North Carolina, Kansas, Oklahoma and Mississippi State). The team earned a Top 25 ranking in Week 17, the first time the program had ever been ranked, and capped off a historic season by winning the Southern Conference Tournament.
Their offense is powered by senior guard Fletcher Magee (20.7 ppg, 42.8% 3P) who is the Southern Conference Player of the Year. The Terriers rank first in the conference in adjusted offensive efficiency, effective field goal percentage, turnover percentage and 3P accuracy. Wofford ranks 10th in KenPom’s adjusted offensive efficiency.
This is Wofford’s fifth NCAA tournament appearance and all have come since 2010. Under coach Mike Young, the Terriers are 0-4 straight up in the Big Dance but 3-1 against the spread. — John Ewing

Seton Hall’s Statistical Profile
Seton Hall is coming off an impressive Big East tournament, barely losing to top-seeded Villanova 74-72 in the championship game. The Pirates are peaking at the right time, having won four of their last five to finish the regular season 20-13 (9-9 conference).
The Hall punched their ticket to the Big Dance for the 4th straight year and that experience bodes well for a possible deep run. Seton Hall is well balanced, ranking 55th in adjusted efficiency, including 90th in offensive efficiency. Junior guard Myles Powell (22.9 PPG) is a one-man wrecking ball and has the ability to will his team to the Sweet 16.
But the true calling card for the Pirates is their stingy defense (45th overall in defensive efficiency). If you’re looking for a sleeper, the Hall could be a smart bet. — Josh Appelbaum
