The total market is worth watching. Over 40.5 is essentially a coin flip, while the 41.5 rung leans slightly toward the Under. That fits a matchup where both defenses have been more reliable than the offenses.
Seahawks vs. Broncos Prediction
Seattle has the better defensive profile, but its offense has struggled to stay on schedule.
The Seahawks rank near the bottom of the league in offensive efficiency and rushing EPA, while Sam Darnold has thrown for 168 and 195 yards in his last two games and taken eight sacks over that span. Seattle also turned the ball over four times against San Francisco, including three fumbles.
Denver has not been much better offensively. Bo Nix has averaged fewer than 6.0 yards per attempt in four of five starts, and the Broncos have had trouble sustaining drives themselves.
The difference is the matchup up front. Denver recorded five sacks against Justin Herbert last week, and that pass rush now gets a Seattle offensive line that has had trouble protecting Darnold.
A low-possession game also makes home-field advantage more valuable. If both teams are punting often and playing for field position, one turnover or short field could decide the night.
The biggest concern for Denver is the secondary. Pat Surtain II, Talanoa Hufanga and Riley Moss have all carried injury concerns into the short week, so check the NFL injury report before kickoff.
Even with that risk, I see something close to Broncos 20, Seahawks 17.
