Week 5 of the 2025 NFL season starts with the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football on Oct. 2. Kickoff for TNF is set for 8:15 p.m. ET; the game will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video.

Blake Corum Over 27.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
The Rams committed to Kyren Williams over summer, and while it’s still his backfield, we have to consider the role that Blake Corum has because it’s no longer just Williams’ backfield.
We’ve heard Sean McVay be quite open about the expanded role for Corum, with the Rams’ head coach stating that “I think you want Kyren playing about two-thirds of the time and Blake playing the other third.”
Week 4 saw Williams have a season-low 13 carries, while Corum has seen his carries increase every week since the beginning of the season.
Following the win over the Colts, McVay said he’ll be “disciplined” and keep the 65:35 split that he wants.

Matthew Stafford Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-142)
The San Francisco 49ers have been strong against the pass this season, giving up just five passing touchdowns through four games. However, we have to back Matthew Stafford to have Over 1.5 passing touchdowns because he’s been in great form.
Stafford has averaged two passing touchdowns per game this season and has largely looked productive with eight TD ( just two interceptions) and a QB rating of 106.1.
Since Week 1, in which Stafford threw just one touchdown pass against the Texans, who possess one of the best pass rushing duos in the league, he’s had two or more touchdown passes.
Last week, Stafford threw three touchdown passes in a masterful showing against the Colts.

Davante Adams Anytime Touchdown (+125)
When you’re picking out a touchdown scorer for this game it’s easy to look at the running backs, both of whom have put up big numbers in the past. Despite that, we’re picking Davante Adams, who might just be having a rebound year in Los Angeles.
Adams has looked on the decline over the past couple of seasons since leaving the Packers, first at the Raiders and then with the Jets, looking well past his best at times during his time in New York. But now he’s back with an elite quarterback and has an excellent playcaller.
In return, Adams has given the Rams their first true X-receiver in a number of years; his ability to go up and make plays is paying off big time. He’s scored in three straight games and has a team-high 10 red-zone targets.
For context, star teammate Puka Nacua has just three. Adams is tied with the Lions’ Amon-Ra St Brown for the most targets inside the 20-yard line.
The 32-year-old Adams still has a lot to give and is getting extreme volume.
Backing him to score is almost a must-play at the moment with the wideout on course to have his best season since 2020.
