49ers vs Seahawks Preview, Parlay Pick
Sam Darnold Under 30.5 Pass Attempts

It's fitting that the Seahawks and 49ers' second meeting is to decide the winner of the NFC West. These teams met in Week 1, and that matchup could be telling of how this one will go.
In the first meeting, the Seahawks' offense struggled and was unable to possess the ball. That is a common theme for 49ers games this season as they rank eighth in average time of possession.
However, the Seahawks are likely to counteract that by establishing their run game as their passing attack is more efficiency-based rather than volume-based. The Seahawks run the ball at the third-highest rate in the NFL, and the 49ers are middle of the pack against the run.
This run-heavy approach will help Seattle control the game, but will also cap the amount of passing attempts. Although this is nothing new, as Sam Darnold has had fewer than 30.5 pass attempts in 10-of-16 games this season.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Under 99.5 Receiving Yards

The slight decrease in passing volume from the Seahawks has a clear trickle-down effect. The first receiver impacted is Jaxon Smith-Njigba. JSN is having a monster season as he has done tremendous work while garnering 36 percent of the team's targets.
Smith-Njigba will draw extra attention from a 49ers secondary that has been decimated this season. If the Seahawks get stuck in late-down passing situations, look for San Francisco to force the ball somewhere else.
Despite his great numbers, this total is on the higher end of JSN's production. He has gone under this mark in seven of 16 games this season, and he's likely to again against a divisional rival tonight.
AJ Barner Under 4.5 Receptions

The next Seattle pass catcher set for a quiet night is tight end AJ Barner.
Barner has carved himself a consistent role in the offense this season as his size makes him a true threat in the red zone.
However, his role is so consistent that it lacks upside, and his total receptions are overinflated heading into this matchup. Barner has recorded more than four receptions only twice this season, and both were complete outliers.
Barner has an excellent 76 percent catch rate, but has only averaged 4.1 targets per game, and he only saw two targets in the first game against San Francisco.
Fade Barner tonight as this total is too close to his ceiling.
Zach Charbonnet Over 41.5 Rushing Yards

Finally, the one Seahawks player set to exceed expectations is running back Zach Charbonnet, who has been the favorite around the goal line all season, but over the last three weeks, he's outsnapped Kenneth Walker overall.
Last week, Charbonnet played more snaps, got four fewer carries, but was extremely efficient against Carolina. That performance likely secured him a leading role in this matchup, and an average performance should get him over this mark.
