Chicago Bears Betting Preview

The Bears are coming off a 27-9 loss to the Bengals in Week 2 of the preseason. That was a game where Caleb Williams saw limited action, completing 2-of-5 passes for 28 yards.

Other starters like Rome Odunze and Colston Loveland had limited snaps as well. Case Keenum and Miller Moss shared quarterback duties, each throwing for over 100 yards.

Tennessee Titans Betting Preview

The Titans beat the Seahawks 19-16 in their last preseason game. Cam Ward completed 8-of-12 passes for 69 yards, while Mitchell Trubisky, Hendon Hooker, and Will Levis also saw action under center.

Despite going 2-0 in preseason, the Titans first-team offense has looked rather underwhelming, as Ward adjusts to a new scheme as he tries to bounce back from a disappointing rookie year.

Bears vs Titans Prediction, Betting Analysis

I'm going with Bears/Titans Under 36.5 in this game.

Bears games have combined for 44 and 36 points during preseason, while Titans' games have combined for 32 and 35 points.

The main reason why I'm going with the Under is that the Titans have been pretty mediocre on offense so far. Cam Ward has struggled to connect with rookie Carnell Tate, as they haven't been able to get it done downfield.

Titans head coach Robert Saleh has already stated that starters are going to play in this game, so this is a bet on Ward continuing to struggle as he adapts to a new offense.

Additionally, we're not sure how much the Bears' starters are going to play, as starters have gotten extensive work during joint practices.

The good news for the Bears is that Tyson Bagent could see some action after returning to practice. However, the fact that we could see Bears' backups for a significant portion of this game is another reason to back the Under in this one.

Pick: Under 36.5 (-105)
