Dallas Cowboys

Week 8 couldn't have gone better for the Cowboys. Dak Prescott combined with CeeDee Lamb to thrash the Rams defense en route to a blowout win.

The win over the Rams was Dallas' second straight cover and win since getting dominated by the 49ers. The Cowboys are starting to look more like the team that many projected to be one of the best in the NFC before the season.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles won a shootout against the Commanders in Week 8, led by Jalen Hurts’ four passing touchdowns. A.J. Brown is breaking out, if that was possible for him, and continued his elite season with eight catches for 130 yards and two amazing touchdowns.

Philadelphia is 7-1, but it doesn’t feel like the reigning NFC champions have hit their stride yet. The Eagles keep winning with room for improvement. A victory over Dallas would give them a multi-game lead in the NFC East.
