Stud Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams (toe) has not played since Sept. 26, yet there is optimism he’ll return to action today against the Los Angeles Chargers.
With Adams now expected to play, the betting market has taken notice. In general, quarterbacks have the most value to a point spread, and few players outside of signal-callers are valuable enough to move betting lines.

However, Adams is one of those players, and the spread and over/under movement for today’s Packers vs. Chargers matchup confirms his value.
Packers vs. Chargers Odds, Line Movement
As recently as this morning, the Packers sat as 3.5-point road favorites against the Chargers, while the over/under was settled at 49.
But with news breaking that Adams will likely be active, Packers vs. Chargers odds quickly adjusted across the betting market.
As one would expect, Green Bay is a better team with Davante on the field, reflected by a point-spread move from Packers -3.5 to -4. In addition, Adams is Aaron Rodgers’ favorite and most potent offensive weapon, causing the total to climb from 49 to 50.
At the time of writing, 83% of bets are laying the points with Green Bay, while 78% of total tickets have landed on the over.
In addition, Adams is now a must-start as The Action Network’s 11th-ranked fantasy football wide receiver in NFL Week 9.
