  • Our experts guide you through how to handle lineup decisions around five questionable players.

Week 2 is here already and we've got some marquee fantasy football injuries to monitor leading up to kickoff, but don't worry — our rankers have you covered should any of the players listed below be ruled out.

With this article, we'll give a brief rundown of some of the players who are entering the week with a questionable tag, along with where our fantasy rankers — Sean Koerner, Chris Raybon and Matthew Freedman — will have each player ranked if they're active. We'll also run through which players would benefit the most if the questionable players are ruled out, and who you could pick up on waivers if you're in a pinch.

Here's a quick list of the five players we'll cover:

  • Joe Mixon, RB, Cincinnati Bengals
  • Mark Ingram, RB, Baltimore Ravens
  • Mark Andrews, TE Baltimore Ravens
  • Mike Williams, WR Los Angeles Chargers
  • Le'Veon Bell, RB, New York Jets

Keep a close eye on our experts' real-time fantasy rankings, too, which will be continuously updated until kickoff.

Joe Mixon, RB, Cincinnati Bengals

Mixon managed just one limited practice heading into Week 2 after suffering an ankle injury against the Seahawks in their first game of the season.

ESPN's Adam Schefter mentioned late Saturday night that Mixon is a game-time decision, but that he's planning to play. It's a tricky situation for fantasy owners because even if he does play, he might not be 100%.

Fantasy Ranking If Mixon Is Active:

  • Koerner: RB21
  • Raybon: RB24
  • Freedman: RB24

Biggest Beneficiary + Ranking If Mixon Is Inactive: Giovani Bernard (Koerner RB19, Freedman and Raybon RB21)
Potential Waiver Wire Pickup If You're In A Bind: Trayveon Williams (0% owned)

Mark Ingram, RB Baltimore Ravens

Ingram started the week with a limited practice, then practiced in full on Thursday and Friday, but the Ravens still decided to list him as questionable.

However, they stated he is expected to play on Sunday against the Cardinals.

Fantasy Ranking If Ingram Is Active:

  • Koerner: RB15
  • Raybon: RB12
  • Freedman: RB16

Biggest Beneficiary + Ranking If Ingram Is Inactive: Gus Edwards (Koerner RB19, Freedman RB20, Raybon RB25); Justice Hill (Koerner RB27, Raybon RB26)
Potential Waiver Wire Pickup If You're In A Bind: Gus Edwards (6% owned), Justice Hill (23% owned)

Mark Andrews, TE, Baltimore Ravens

Andrews missed practice on Friday, but Schefter reported that it was simply a rest day for the tight end and he's still expected to play.

However, fantasy owners would probably be over-prepared, so he's included in this list anyway.

  • Koerner: TE7

Mike Williams, WR, Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers have been pessimistic about Williams most of the week. He didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday but logged in a limited session on Friday.

Williams is a true game-time decision, and if he does play, it's expected to be in a limited role.

Fantasy Ranking If Williams Is Active:

  • Koerner: WR55
  • Raybon: WR65
  • Freedman: WR72

Biggest Beneficiary + Ranking If Williams Is Inactive: Travis Benjamin (Koerner WR51, Freedman WR68); Dontrelle Inman (Koerner WR66, Raybon WR68)

Le'Veon Bell, RB, New York Jets

Bell missed practice early in the week and got some imaging done on his shoulder, which came back negative, which is good news for the Jets since they'll already be without Sam Darnold (mono).

Head coach Adam Gase confirmed on Friday that Bell should be good to go for their matchup against the Browns on Monday night.

Fantasy Ranking If Bell Is Active:

  • Freedman: RB5
  • Raybon: RB9
