Giants vs Rams Against the Spread Prediction
It may feel like taking the Giants +6.5 at this point is getting the worst of this line for Monday night football, but I still show some value on the road team given the circumstances.
Puka Nacua is trending in the wrong direction and the Rams' passing game would take a major hit if he is out or limited in a significant way. This would translate to a run-heavy gameplan that will cause Los Angeles to have long-sustaining drives that take plenty of time off of the clock.
Speaking of methodical drives, the Giants had four scoring drives of 10 or more plays in Week 1. This is how the New York offense will operate in 2026.
Greg Roman has his fingerprints all over the scheme being operated and it is the exact style of play head coach John Harbaugh is looking to make this team's identity.
Jaxson Dart is getting the ball out of his hands more quickly this season as the coaching staff is emphasizing his protection. The Rams failed to record a sack against the 49ers and I don’t see this as being the week their pass rush gets on track.
The Rams offense is short-handed and their defense will struggle to find opportunities to disrupt Dart inside the pocket. In addition to all of this, the Rams were gashed by the 49ers in the running game to the tune of 5.5 yards per carry.
New York is carrying confidence and momentum into a showcase game that can prove it will be a true contender this season. I expect them to make this a highly competitive game that goes down to the wire.
Take the Giants at +6 or better.

Giants vs Rams Over/Under Pick

While I expect the Rams defense to eventually be elite once they’re at full strength, I’m still skeptical of the unit.
Myles Garrett was a non-factor in Week 1 before landing on injured reserve, and while Aaron Donald is expected to play tonight, I would be shocked if he wasn’t held to a relatively low snap count given it’s his first game since the 2023-2024 Super Bowl.
At the same time, I’m somewhat willing to overlook the Rams' poor offensive performance in Week 1. It was the first game of the season for a group that sat almost all of its starters in the preseason, plus, their unique approach to traveling to Australia seemed to impact them negatively, with their timing looking off all night. The Rams also get to face what is probably a worse defense in the Giants.
At the same time, I’m optimistic about the Giants offense as long as they stay healthy.
Malik Nabers was better than expected in his first game back from an ACL tear, rookie wide receiver Malachi Fields should get better on a weekly basis, and the Cam Skattebo/Jaxson Dart combo looked sharp against the Cowboys. I have my doubts about Skattebo’s ability to stay on the field, but that’s a long-term concern.
Thus, I’m taking the over 47.5 for Monday Night Football, and betting on the Giants to keep it close enough that both teams stay aggressive throughout the contest.

Blake Corum Receptions Prop
The Rams routinely rank at the bottom of the NFL in targeting running backs in the passing game.
Blake Corum ran only two routes routes in Week 1 while third-string RB Ronnie Rivers logged three routes after the game got out of hand.
Corum should continue to see a decent share of the rushing work, but he's an afterthought as a receiver. He was held without a catch in 10-of-17 games last season.

Darnell Mooney Receptions Prop

In a game loaded with stars on both sides, this certainly is not a sexy pick.
In Week 1, Darnell Mooney logged 39 snaps and primarily operated out of the slot. While he saw only two targets (for two receptions), he was able to turn that into 27 receiving yards in a game the Giants mostly controlled.
Tonight, the Giants find themselves as 7-point underdogs against the Rams, and they'll likely need Jaxson Dart to throw the ball a bit more. I love the price for over 1.5 receptions at a juicy +160.
And if you can still find it, Mooney to go over 10.5 receiving yards is my favorite prop for tonight's game — but the number has moved to around 15.5 yards at most books already.

Isaiah Likely Anytime TD Prop

Heading into the season, I suspected Isaiah Likely would have early upside considering that Malik Nabers might not be 100% as he works his way back from a torn ACL/meniscus.
Sure enough, Likely stepped up big time against the Cowboys, hauling in eight receptions (on eight targets) for 78 yards and two touchdowns.
Always talented but hidden playing behind Mark Andrews in Baltimore, Likely is now operating as the guy for the Giants. There's still a window to invest in his upside tonight at this price.
