Packers vs Bears NFL Week 16 Preview
This NFC North battle features two great offensive minds — Ben Johnson and Matt LaFleur — facing defenses they recently saw. I'm expecting some really nice adjustments in that aspect.
Additionally, the Bears defense can’t keep getting away with all of these turnovers — they currently lead the NFL in takeaways by a comfortable margin at 2.1 per game on the season.
On offense, injuries to Rome Odunze and Luther Burden III are a little worrisome, but I think safety Evan Williams being out for the Packers is almost just as impactful. Most importantly, the season-ending injury to Micah Parsons can’t be overstated for the Packers defense.
Just look back at their latest game against Denver. Against one of the better offensive lines in the league, Parsons got held illegally what felt like 10 times and the officials didn’t call any of them.
Everyone on Green Bay's defense benefits from the presence of Parsons, as many of the Packers' defensive players have significantly improved since he joined the team.
The Packers defense is going to take a considerable step back without Parsons moving forward.
Packers vs Bears Prediction, Betting Analysis
I’m just going to trust these two great offensive minds against the defenses they just faced a two weeks ago.
Now, there are some real injury concerns, such Zach Tom, but I think Christian Watson will play.
Playing on a short week with some injury concerns isn’t ideal, but I’m going to trust Matt LaFleur and Ben Johnson to both get their teams into the mid-20s in this game.
Pick: Over 46.5 (-110)

I'm not betting either side of the spread in this game.
