NFL Sharp Picks: How Pros Are Betting Saints vs. Bears & Steelers vs. Ravens Totals

The last couple of weeks have been quiet ones in terms of NFL PRO Report value bets, but that is changing in a big way for Week 8.
A handful of Sunday games are showing at least three of our five signals aligned on one side, including Steelers vs. Ravens (1 p.m. ET, CBS) and Saints vs. Bears (4:25 p.m. ET, FOX).

Steelers vs. Ravens

According to Sports Insights' Bet Signals, sharps have taken a clear position on the under for what is likely the biggest game of Week 8.
In two separate instances, smart money has come in on the Steelers vs. Ravens under, and the market has adjusted accordingly from 49 down to the current number of 46.5 (see live NFL odds here).
Big Money
While attracting just 45% of the bets, the under has landed 62% of the money, meaning the larger-sized wagers are also on that side of the total.
PRO Systems
So why are professional bettors so bullish on this under? The wind.
The Action Network's High Winds PRO System reveals that NFL games played in double-digit breezes have gone under the total 57% of the time since 2003.
Current forecasts are calling for 10 mph winds at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

Saints vs. Bears

The Saints vs. Bears under has plummeted from 47 to 42.5 since opening and yes, sharps are the reason.
Bet Signals have tracked two smart money moves on the under, which is becoming a theme of Week 8.
Big Money
Fifty-nine percent of tickets have landed on the under, indicating that the majority of bettors are already expecting a lower-scoring matchup.
Add in the fact that those bets account for 91% of the money (click here to see live betting percentages) and it's clear that's where oddsmakers have their liability as well.
PRO Systems
The conditions for Saints vs. Bears aren't just windy, they're windy AF.
Breezes of 22 mph are expected at Soldier Field on Sunday, which would EASILY clear the 10-mph benchmark needed for a savvy windy under.
And the most shocking part of that forecast, it's not even the windiest of Sunday's games.
