Betting an NFL Parlay with Anytime Touchdown scorers is incredibly fun, even if they’re mostly a losing proposition that will drain your bankroll if you’re not careful. Most sportsbooks tend to clean up on this bet type, so how do we scratch the parlay itch without overextending ourselves?
Allow me to introduce “The 180 Challenge” — here’s how it works in case you're not familiar with the concept:
Each week, I bet on a three-leg Anytime TD parlay that equates to somewhere around +1800 or more; $10 per parlay ticket, $180 total for the season. The goal is to win as much as possible. But the safety net is that you only need to hit one parlay all season to make your money back.
If you go 0-18 (which would be unfortunate), the positive spin is it's only $180. This way, we can still participate in fun touchdown parlays while managing our bankroll without going overboard on bad spending habits.
Here’s my Anytime Touchdown Parlay for Week 5.
NFL Parlay — Week 5 Anytime TD Picks
- Nico Collins Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+135)
- Marvin Harrison Jr. Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+125)
- Tre Tucker Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+275)
Parlay Odds: +1883
Disclaimer: 18-1 parlays have less than 5% chance of hitting, and that percentage only shrinks as you increase the parlay odds. Keep your expectations in check and bet on these for recreation.
Texans vs Ravens TD Pick: Nico Collins
Nico Collins has found the end zone twice this season and continues to be a key target for C.J. Stroud in scoring range. Collins has three looks inside the 10-yard line, which is tied for fifth-most in the NFL.
This week, Collins gets a favorable matchup against a Ravens defense that’s been hit hard by injuries with both starting cornerbacks sidelined.
Given his role and the state of Baltimore’s secondary, Collins is in a prime spot to capitalize, making him a strong candidate to score on Sunday.
Raiders vs Colts TD Pick: Tre Tucker
Tre Tucker has been a touchdown machine to start the season, already finding the end zone four times.
He leads the Raiders in end-zone targets and continues to be a focal point of their red-zone passing attack, with Las Vegas ranking fifth in the league in red-zone pass rate.
This week, Tucker draws a favorable matchup against a Colts defense that sits bottom five in touchdowns allowed to wide receivers.
On top of that, Tucker has even been mixed in with a few backfield carries and also serves as the team’s kick returner, giving him multiple paths to score.
With all those opportunities, Tucker looks primed to add another touchdown this week.
Titans vs Cardinals TD Pick: Marvin Harrison Jr
Marvin Harrison Jr. has scored in two of four games and continues to be Kyler Murray’s top option in scoring range. Harrison leads the team with four red-zone targets.
His involvement has only grown against zone coverage, and that’s exactly what he’ll see this week — the Titans play zone at a top-10 rate.
Tennessee has already allowed a WR1 touchdown in three of its four games, which makes this an ideal spot.
If Murray and Harrison finally get on the same page, Harrison has the potential to explode.
