Raiders vs Chargers Preview, Parlay Picks

Raiders +3.5

The Chargers impressed in Week 1 with a hard-fought win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Brazil.

While I was impressed with the Chargers last weekend, tonight is the perfect fade spot as they come off the high of defeating the defending AFC Champions.

Geno Smith looked strong in Week 1, racking up 362 passing yards in the win over the Patriots. He's a real upgrade over the plethora of quarterbacks the Raiders used last year (Aidan O'Connell, Gardner Minshew, Desmond Ridder).

I expect Las Vegas to rely again on its passing game to keep pace with the Chargers

Justin Herbert is 2-2 on the road in his career against the Raiders, with three of the four games being within three points.

We will see another closely contested divisional battle that favors the 'dog tonight.

Brock Bowers Under 6.5 Receptions

I expect Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh to have a strong game plan to slow down Brock Bowers, who collected five catches on eight targets in Week 1.

Bowers suffered a knee injury in that game against the Patriots and is questionable for tonight after logging a limited practice on Saturday.

Our Action Pro Report has found an edge on this prop, projecting Bowers for 5.1 catches tonight.
