He has averaged around 3 shots a game both this season and last season and over that time he has been under this line in 51/76 games. Even with all the injuries to the Panthers he hasn't seen more minutes and I don't expect him too because they are basically eliminated from the playoffs. An away game vs the Islanders is only a mediocre matchup for most people, but it is a pretty bad matchup for someone like Tkachuk on the top powerplay unit. The Islanders don't take a lot of penalties.
