USMNT vs. Senegal Picks, Parlay
Leg 1: USMNT ML (+155)
Leg 2: Both Teams to Score — Yes (-120)
I'm backing the Americans to win, but it's worth noting that Senegal’s golden generation hasn’t lost momentum following FIFA’s controversial decision in the Africa Cup Final that crowned Morocco as champions. Pape Thiaw’s squad continued its winning run on the pitch with victories over Peru and Gambia, and a rock-solid defense remains one of Senegal's defining traits.
On the other side, Mauricio Pochettino prefers a system with three center backs and aggressive wing-backs pushing high up the pitch, so Senegal should find plenty of space to run into and create problems for the vulnerable American defense, which is why I'm backing both sides to score.
USMNT vs. Senegal Betting Analysis
The USMNT has already arrived in Georgia to continue its preparation for the upcoming World Cup and, as part of that process, will play two international friendlies (against Senegal and Germany).
The squad appears united and fully convinced that these efforts can help them bounce back from a difficult start to 2026, which included losses to Belgium and Portugal during the last FIFA window.
Since losing the Gold Cup Final to Mexico in September 2025, the USMNT has played eight friendlies, winning four, losing three, and drawing once.
The team’s form under Pochettino has improved significantly; however, there’s still plenty of work to do defensively. Despite maintaining a positive record in recent matches — even with the past two defeats — the USMNT continues to struggle to keep clean sheets, conceding 13 goals across those eight games.
