Pick of the Props: The most intriguing bets from the EPL’s pre-Christmas schedule article feature image

The festive Premier League fixture program kicks in this weekend with a full slate of EPL matchups to take us into Christmas.

And as we head into the always-chaotic festive period, we've picked out our favorite prop bets from Saturday's EPL matchlist.

UNITED AT THE DOUBLE?

Manchester United has won each of their last four matches against Leicester, three in the EPL and last season's Community Shield.

And in each of United's last three away games in the EPL, Jose Mourinho's men led at both halftime and full-time; they emerged winners on the road against West Brom, Arsenal and Watford.

Manchester United faces Leicester at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. Stung by their midweek League Cup exit at the hands of Bristol City, expect United to come out with guns blazing.

The halftime/full-time market has Manchester United-Manchester United (winning at halftime and at match end) at +185, but a far more attractive prop bet is United to win both halves at +450.

MANCHESTER UNITED TO WIN BOTH HALVES @ +450

NICE ONE, SON

With goals against Watford, Apoel Nicosia, Stoke and Brighton, South Korean striker Son Heung-Min is Tottenham Hotspur's top scorer in December, having netted in four of Tottenham's five matches in all competitions so far.

The Spurs travel to Turf Moor to take on Burnley on Saturday, and Son is a +190 shot to find the net for a fifth time. He's certainly Tottenham's man in form.

SAKO ON A HAT TRICK

Longtime basement dwellers Crystal Palace are showing signs of recovery under Roy Hodgson thanks to a seven-game unbeaten run, with wins in their last two games.

Big striker Christian Benteke has stolen the headlines for various reasons (good and bad) over the last couple of weeks, but he'll sit out this weekend's clash at Swansea due to suspension.

However, fellow striker Bakary Sako (above) has playing a crucial role for the Eagles. He scored late goals in both of Palace's recent wins over Watford and Leicester.

He's +250 to score at any time at Liberty Stadium this weekend.

MID-TABLE SCORE DRAW

The EPL's 11th place team faces the league's 12th place side as Southampton play host to Huddersfield Town in a clash that looks tight on paper and may well be equally close on the pitch, too.

Southampton hasn't kept a clean sheet in their last nine EPL matches, and they've scored a solitary goal in four of their last five outings.

On the flip side, Huddersfield has scored in each of their last three Premier League matches and has conceded in each of their last six away games.

A draw looks the smart play, with a 1-1 tie  looking the most likely outcome.

SOUTHAMPTON 1-1 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN @ +700 (WILLIAM HILL)

DE BRUYNE'S IN FORM

On a team packed with talent in every position, Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne has stood out this season as a double threat, both creating and scoring crucial goals as City has pulled clear at the top of the standings.

The Belgian playmaker scored in each of City's last two EPL games, against Swansea and Tottenham, and he's a +130 shot to score at any time and make it three in three.
