Manchester United will remain at Old Trafford this weekend for match day 29 to take on Everton.

The Red Devils finally bounced back from their 7-0 shellacking against Liverpool, earning their first league win in three tries since the embarrassment with a 1-0 home win over Brentford on Wednesday. They sit fourth in the table, tied on points with third-place Newcastle, but just three points above fifth-placed Tottenham.

Meanwhile, the Toffees have secured three draws and one win in their last four outings and are out of the relegation zone for the time being in 16th place. However, their 27 points are equal to 17th-placed Nottingham and 18th-placed Bournemouth.

Will Manchester United be able to move closer to securing a Champions League spot for next season, or will Everton continue to further themselves from the relegation zone with a road upset?

Man United Are Unstoppable at Home

The fans and manager Erik ten Hag have turned Old Trafford back into the fortress it once was during the Alex Ferguson era.

United are unbeaten in their last 23 matches at Old Trafford, and 20 of those 23 have been wins. Despite the three draws, the games have not been particularly close. United have scored 54 goals while conceding just 12 goals during this unbeaten home run.

While being at home this weekend is undoubtedly the best thing for United as they continue to battle for a top-four position, they also have one of the most in-form players in the Premier League in Marcus Rashford.

The 25-year old striker netted a half-volley to separate the Red Devils from Bournemouth in their last outing, giving him his 11th Premier League goal since the return from the World Cup break. That is the most out of any other player in the league, including the machine that is Erling Haaland! His individual tally is also more goals than the entirety of Bournemouth, Palace and Southampton during that span.

Rashford's goal-scoring form may continue to increase this weekend, as ten Hag confirmed in his pre-game presser that Christian Eriksen will be available for the first time since suffering an ankle injury back in January. Eriksen has assisted Rashford three times this season, the second-most on the team behind Bruno Fernandes (5).

Everton Struggle on The Road

Everton are on a bit of a run here, going unbeaten in their last four. New hire manager Sean Dyche has his side playing gritty and fighting for every point. However, the Toffees are as bad on the road as United are good at home.

They have gone 10 league matches without an away victory and have conceded 19 in that span. It is not just Everton's defense that drops a level on the road. Their offense sputters just as bad.

Along with their inability to put together solid performances on an opposing team's pitch, Dyche is also dealing with how to shape his midfield. Abdoulaye Doucoure was sent out during their 1-1 draw against Tottenham and will be forced to face a three-match ban.

Doucoure has started in all nine games since Dyche took over and is the only Everton player to score more than two goals in that stretch.

The former Burnley manager is now left with the decision of doing a straight swap of Doucoure with another midfielder or changing the shape altogether to try and catch the Red Devils off guard.

Man United vs Everton Pick

Both sides are fighting for positioning in the table, so a lack of motivation will not be a factor in either clubhouse.

However, Man United are unbelievable at home and score at will in front of their fans. At the same time, Everton have yet to discover the recipe to earn road results and concede an average of 1.71 goals when away from Goodison Park.

United have bested Everton already this season at Old Trafford with a 3-1 victory in the FA Cup, and another victory on Saturday would be their 39th league win over the Toffees equaling the record number of wins one team has against another, according to theanalyst.com.

That said, I am backing United on the spread and Rashford to accumulate two shots or more on target. He recorded three in the FA Cup showdown.

Picks: Manchester United -1.5 (+140) | Marcus Rashford Over 1.5 Shots on Target (+100)
