Premier League Odds & Market Changes: Watford vs. Aston Villa, Burnley vs. Brighton See Betting Movement

Life in the Premier League gets fully under way this weekend, with two matches seeing some minor volatility on the nine-match docket.

We've tracked the odds for all 10 games taking place in England's top flight via DraftKings entering the anticipated card. And surprisingly, the Watford vs. Aston Villa contest has seen the most activity when it comes to odds movement.

A week ago Friday, the Villans were sitting at +120 odds on the three-way moneyline. The Hornets came in at +240, with the draw settling at +230 odds. Things held pretty firm all the way across the board until Friday morning when Watford dipped to +210 on the moneyline, showing interesting activity on the host side. In contrast, Aston Villa moved as high as +140 odds.

However, those numbers didn't hold that long as bettors seemed to find value throughout the day on the Villans at that price and came back to them. The move was significant enough to send Watford to a week-high +245 and Villa to the +125 it was just a week ago.

Another match seeing odds movement is Burnley vs. Brighton & Hove Albion, which takes place at Turf Moor. The Clarets, who are once again part of the preseason relegation chatter, opened as +240 home underdogs. In contrast, the Seagulls, who struggled to a 16th-place finish last season despite having some stellar advanced metrics, were +140 on the ML a week ago.

Yet, on Monday, Burnley's ML price ticked down to +225 before settling at +220 as of writing. Brighton moved to +145 four days ago before its current +150 price.

Underdogs showing value got a boost Friday when Brentford (+330) pulled off a 2-0 upset win over Arsenal at Brentford Community Stadium in the lone fixture.
