  • Soccer analysts Matthew Trebby and Jeremy Pond have teamed up for Saturday's featured two-team Premier League parlay.
  • Trebby has his sights set on a Burnley moneyline win over Norwich City, while Pond has targted the total in the Wolves-Newcastle affair.
  • The duo, who hit on their parlay in Wednesday's Champions League action, break down their picks below.

We debuted a new betting feature during this week's Champions League matches at The Action Network that has two of our soccer analysts combining their respective best bets to create a parlay full of value.

Well, handicappers Jeremy Pond and Matthew Trebby delivered out of the gate on Wednesday's stacked card, connecting on their respective legs to cash a nice ticket for those who tailed the play.

Pond got things started when he hit the total over 2.5 goals (-120) in Zenit Saint Petersburg vs. Malmö match. Zenit cruised to a 4-0 victory. Trebby closed out the winning ticket with the total clearing 1.5 goals in the first half (-125) of the Bayern Munich vs. Dynamo Kyiv game. The Bavarians led 2-0 at the half before going on to an easy 5-0 triumph.

Those wins parlayed on the same aforementioned ticket hit at +230 odds.

The two handicappers are back at it again Saturday, with the hope of delivering back-to-back parlay wins via picks from two not-so-sexy Premier League affairs. They're targeting matches featuring Burnley vs. Norwich City and Wolves vs. Newcastle United for the wager.

Check out their betting angles and what kind of price they're getting on the parlay at DraftKings ahead of the latest games in the English top flight.

Matthew Trebby: As someone who has relegation futures on Burnley and Norwich City, I’m thrilled how both have started this Premier League season as they're sitting 19th and 20th place, respectively, entering Saturday's games.

Usually solid at the back, Burnley has created chances at a solid rate while being a bit more exposed defensively than usual. Sean Dyche’s team has created 7.22 expected goals this season compared to five scored, and it has rightfully conceded 11 compared to 10.91 xGA as well.

The Clarets have had a difficult schedule so far, facing six teams — Brighton & Hove Albion, Liverpool, Leeds United, Everton, Arsenal and Leicester City — that all could easily finish in the top half of the table.

Against Brighton, Leeds and Arsenal at Turf Moor, Burnley took just one point, although their non-penalty expected goal difference (NPxGDiff) is -0.02 on the season. I expect them to break through against an inferior Norwich team that could be on its way to a record-setting season… and not in a good way.

The Canaries have yet to score a goal in three away matches, registering just 1.40 xG in the process. They’re bottom of the league in xG, xGA, NPxGDiff and pretty much any category you can possibly think of.

Burnley is due for a win and this is a fantastic spot to make it happen. Play the Clarets' moneyline up to -130 odds.

Trebby's Pick: Burnley ML (-115)

Jeremy Pond: If bland soccer is your cup of tea, I have the perfect match for you to watch on the latest Premier League card. Wolves host Newcastle United in a battle of struggling clubs at Molineux Stadium.

Wolves, who sits in 14th place, have won two of their last three matches. They're most recent victory came in a 1-0 shutout against Southampton last time out. As for its foe, Newcastle has downright poor. The Magpies are winless through six games, earning three losses and three draws.

The last five meetings between these sides have ended in 1-1 draws. Yes, all of those matches finished with the exact same scoreline. So, just doing basic math, you can see the total stayed under 2.5 goals in all of those matchups.

Looking for more hard, historical data? Say no more, my friends.

Throw in the fact the total has stayed under 2.5 goals in Wolverhampton's last four games with Newcastle on home soil. And finally, there have been two goals or less in Wolves' last six league games.

Our colleague, BJ Cunningham, has this match projected at 2.57 goals, so I'm looking for a little better number and turning to the Asian Handicap in this spot. And that means I'm backing the total to stay under 2.75 goals at -125 as my top pick. Doing this gives us protection on both the straight and parlay wagers, with just a smidge more juice getting that extra quarter goal.

Pond's Pick: Total Under 2.75 Goals (-125)
