The second round at Roland Garros begins on Wednesday, May 28, and I have two French Open predictions for men's action.
I'm targeting American action on Day 4 as I have French Open picks for Frances Tiafoe vs Pablo Carreno Busta andReilly Opelka vs Mariano Navone.
Continue below for my two second-round Roland Garros previews and French Open predictions (and parlay) for Wednesday.

At 27 years old, the days of Frances Tiafoe as U.S. tennis's biggest hope are long gone, but the Hyattsville, Md., star still has a lot to give.
It hasn't been the most impressive season for Tiafoe so far as he's struggled to make waves in most of the fast-court season.
However, he came alive at the Houston Open, reaching his first final since the Cincinnati Masters in August. While he failed to carry that through to most of the European clay season, it showed he was still a force to contend with.
Across the net will be Pablo Carreno Busta, who is looking to regain his 2017 form, when he reached the top 10 in ATP singles.
The Spaniard has mixed ATP Tour-level tournaments with Challengers, with wins in the second-tier level. Still, he only got his first ATP Tour clay-court win since 2022 in April at the Grand Prix Hassan II, and he has so far failed to make a comeback that's looking increasingly out of reach.
While I trust Carreno Busta to give a good fight in what could be one of his last matches at Roland Garros, I ultimately trust Tiafoe to make it through.
Pick: Frances Tiafoe Moneyline (-190 via BetMGM)
Reilly Opelka vs Mariano Navone Odds
Reilly Opelka Odds | +270 |
Mariano Navone Odds | -375 |
Over/Under | 38.5 (-102 / -145) |

In a season marked by inconsistency from Argentine tennis stars, Mariano Navone has been a rare bright spot.
The 24-year-old is far from his 2024 form, when he reached the top 24 and qualified for the French Open as the first-ever player to make his Grand Slam debut as a seeded player. Still, he has consistently put in solid performances, departing a tournament only twice in the first round.
Navone's also put together solid wins, such as his ousting of world No. 10 Holger Rune at the Argentina Open. He also defeated former top-10 player Felix Auger-Aliassime in Munich, and topped server extraordinaire Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard at the Madrid Masters.
In the second round at Roland Garros, Navone faces a much more erratic Reilly Opelka, who has put up good runs in fast courts but is 1-4 in main draw, ATP Tour-level games on clay.
The 6-foot-11 American remains one of the biggest servers on tour, and even at Roland Garros' slow courts, he will hold most times, but he hasn't got many tools to overcome Navone from the baseline.
Even if the grind is long, I like the Argentine's odds for a third-round appearance.
Pick: Over 38.5 Games (-102 via BetMGM)
