The Roland Garros second round begins in Paris on Wednesday, and there are plenty of matchups to like from a betting perspective, especially on the women's side.
Here are my Day 4 WTA picks, previews and French Open predictions for Aryna Sabalenka vs Jil Teichmann and Elina Svitolina vs Anna Bondar.

Elina Svitolina reached her first Grand Slam quarterfinal 10 years ago in Paris.
Since then, she has done it three more times at Roland Garros, but never past that stage. She has only reached the semifinals twice at Wimbledon and once at the US Open, and has not yet won a Grand Slam.
However, the hopes are there.
The 30-year-old Ukrainian is having a great 2025 season, with a 25-8 record and ranking 14th in the WTA. On clay, her favorite court surface, she is ranked 8th in EloRating and won the Rouen WTA 250 in April.
In Madrid and Rome, Svitolina reached the semifinals and quarterfinals, respectively, and started Roland Garros with a bang by beating Zeynep Sonmez 6-1, 6-1 in one hour and 12 minutes.
Bondar advanced with a 7-6(2), 6-3 victory over Laura Siegmund and ranks 82nd on the tour. She has only two WTA 125 singles titles and a better trophy haul in doubles.
Svitolina, a crafty baseliner, will need to cut down on her unforced errors (31 in her first-round match, but none costly) to get the win without drama.
Pick: Svitolina ML | Under 18.5 (-105 via DraftKings)
Sabalenka vs Teichmann Odds
Aryna Sabalenka Odds | -5000 |
Jil Teichmann Odds | +2200 |
Over/Under | 16.5 (-125o / -110u) |

The time is now for Sabalenka. With three Grand Slam titles (two Australian Opens and one US Open), this is her best chance to add Roland Garris to her resume.
She has clearly been the best player on the WTA Tour this year, and Swiatek's grip on Roland Garros seems to be loosening with her 2025 results.
Sabalenka, on the other hand, enjoyed a great clay season, winning the title in Madrid (beating Elina Svitolina and Coco Gauff) and reaching the final in Stuttgart, where she lost to Jelena Ostapenko.
Even though this is not her best surface, the World No. 1 is ready to go all the way and make up for her last performance here, when she lost to Mirra Andreeva while fighting a stomach bug that severely weakened her.
Her first-round match was a compelling 6-1, 6-0 victory over Kamilla Rakhimova, and she will probably get another two-set win against the left-handed Jil Teichmann, who is ranked 97th in the WTA.
In their only previous encounter in 2022, Sabalenka won 6-2, 6-1 on Doha's hard court, and she should win with ease again.
You can parlay the moneyline with the over for this match or just add the total to our previous picks.
Pick: Sabalenka ML | Over 16.5 (+118 via DraftKings)
