Dream vs. Valkyries Preview

Both teams arrive here after comfortably winning their semifinal series, sweeping in three games.

The Dream held the Liberty under 100 points in all three contests, and had also swept their previous series against the Mystics (best of three), so they are still unbeaten in this postseason.

Meanwhile, the Valkyries had to go to a third game against the Wings, but later sent the current champions packing, completely shutting down the Aces' offense, as they only allowed 80 or more points once.

Golden State will have home-court advantage as the second seed in the regular season, while the Dream ended up with the fourth overall spot.

Dream vs. Valkyries Prediction

Action PRO shows two Valkyries players as our top prop edges on our dashboard for Game 1, both with A grades.

Guard Kaitlyn Chen is projected for 4.28 points, and forward Janelle Salaun for 7.30 points, giving us great edges of 20.5% and 19.5% when compared to their 5.5 lines and current best vigs.

We're taking the under on Chen, who's averaging 6.0 points in the postseason, but will now face the Dream, featuring the league's third-best defense behind the Mystics and her own team, the Valkyries.

In the regular season, Chen faced Atlanta three times, going under this line twice.

On the contrary, we'll go with Over 5.5 points for Salaun. The forward had a quiet semifinal series against the Aces, playing fewer minutes than usual, but averaged 12.7 in the regular season and unanimously won the Sixth Player of the Year award.

Also, she did great against the Dream, going over this line in all three matchups.
